My mixed-media thread paintings were born from my desire for a slow, meditative, and tactile practice.

This work features ethereal, hand-painted watercolour details layered in thin washes. Soft and earthy-toned cotton floss elevates the piece with rich colour and texture, using the meticulous couching and french knot stitches to accentuate the underlying forms and add lovely dimension.

NOTE: I do not use patterns for these pieces. Each one is a one-of-a-kind , hand painted, hand stitched original.
