This linocut print is part of the Sunday Mornings series.
My linocut blocks are all drawn and carved by hand from personal designs. I carefully blend ink pigments on glass to achieve custom colourways that are then rolled onto each block design before being hand-pressed on paper, sometimes requiring multiple blocks to achieve a single print.
The printmaking process captures and celebrates the touch of the artist. Changes in the pressure of my fingertips or the quantity of ink I pick up on the roller create subtle variations in texture, form, and even colour, ensuring each print is unique. All prints are numbered, titled, and bear my official chop mark and signature.
